Baptism by Romare Bearden

This piece is by Romare Bearden, and is called "Baptism". This piece was done in 1964. I chose this one because I found the setting the scenery in the background so beautiful. This scene makes me feel very peaceful.

Romare Bearden

Romare Bearden's art is interesting. This is not the art I would usually like looking at, but it is unique. Vibrant colors, cutout-like features, all these make it kinda feel like a collage.  This reminds me of a certain art style that one of my favorite anime uses.
