This piece is by Romare Bearden, and is called "Baptism". This piece was done in 1964. I chose this one because I found the setting the scenery in the background so beautiful. This scene makes me feel very peaceful.

This drawing is titled Avenue of Poplar. This piece was made in 1884 in the month of March. Vincent van Gogh drew this piece with pencil, pen in brown ink, on wove paper. I liked this piece because of the simplicity of the work itself along with the detailing. Makes me wonder who exactly was he drawing? And where was this person walking to? Overall the piece is simple, yet the drawing still tells a story and that is why I picked this piece.
