Kollwitz's Drawing is great to look at. I chose this one because the style interest me the most. All the shapes and features are made by multiple lines. This is also the same for the shading. If you look closer, there are small pockets of white.
I chose this Bansky photo because of the detailing that's in it. Each rat has its own positioning and task. Even in the mirror, there are tallies and to me, that means that the rats are attempting something. The rat on the toilet seat looks like he's using the bathroom as well. If you look closely to the bottom left there is a rat hole that he drew as well. I do not know what the title of this piece is. I took this photo from his Instagram account. overall the detailing in this piece is what made me choose it.
This is a painting of the Williamsburg Bridge made by Richard Estes in 1995. This painting caught my attention because it looks so realistic. It does not look like it was painted at all but it looks like a picture shot off of a professional camera. There is so much detail, Estes even included the graffiti and rust. It amazes me that he was able to paint from this angle and include all of the shadows, especially that the painting is not based on a photograph because the shadows must have been moving as he was painting.
This was painted by Richard Estes in 1977. I chose this painting because I don't think it is the typical perspective of a city street. It seems like the focus of it is the building's window to the right, that is showing a reflection of the street. The reflection is basically a mirror image of the buildings and street, which is really cool to see. There are also a couple plants inside the building that Estes painted as well, which adds to the depth of the piece. It seems like Estes really paid attention to each and every detail.
