Dismaland
I chose this part of Banksy's Dismaland, because it shocked me a lot more than the other pieces I found. I assumed that it could represent a butcher and the hanging carousel horse is supposed to be a butchered (or soon to be butchered) animal. I feel like the carousel is such a classic ride that is always embellished with bright colors, so it was intriguing to see this dark twist on that traditional look. This piece was also on an actual carousel that visitors could ride, so I found it really interesting that people could kind of be "part" of the artwork.
