Ginger Jar and Fruit on a Table

This drawing called Ginger Jar and Fruit on a Table was drawn in the year 1890. This drawing is a still life of multiple pieces of fruit and a ginger jar (as the title suggests). I choose this painting as it was the first drawing that I found that I enjoyed. I have always (for some reason) enjoyed still lifes, especially fruit still lifes. When I see a fruit still life, I always think of a home that would love to live in. It makes me feel at peace.
